Signature Spider or Writing spider is very commonly found in India. They have brightly colored bodies that attract insects and wasps, as they fool the insects into thinking that they are flowers. They are characterized by their X-shaped arrangement of their limbs, and the unique zigzag pattern they create at the centre of their web. Their venom is usually harmless to humans. Interestingly, the venom is used for therapeutic purposes and beauty products.
